Women’s Advocacy Program

The Counterpoint Women’s Advocacy Program serves 500 women per year in its Women’s through a variety of services that are described below.  

Partner Contact Program: This program provides support, crisis intervention, safety planning, information sharing, risk assessment and referrals to partners of  abusive men who come to the Counterpoint Men’s Program

Women’s Support Groups: The women’s program provides two support groups [separately in English and Spanish] for women who have experienced domestic violence.

Women’s Education Workshops: The women’s program provides monthly workshops for domestic violence survivors on different topics.

Self Reliance Through Education and Economic Independence Project [STREEI] project: This project helps women in their goals for getting an education and becoming economically self-reliant by providing them financial assistance through grants and bursaries.
